Holiday Package to Andaman: Unwrap Wonder
We had a very relaxing holiday in the Andaman Islands. Foremost reason is the complete isolation from the rest of the world in true sense. In Andaman, only BSNL network works better and throughout all the islands, and other networks work only in Port Blair. As I do use Vodafone service, I had no connectivity except in Port Blair, which means no Facebook, no WhatsApp, no Instagram, and no office work and regular email checkups in most of the days. Alongside quality family time, I had good photographic experience in the islands. The beaches are not absolutely pristine, some are commercialized a bit, even though I have not much to complain. If you are interested, here is the itinerary for our Andaman trip. It might be helpful if you plan for a similar trip.
Day 1: Flight from Kolkata to Port Blair. Reached in the morning at around 9:00 am. Went to Chidiya Tapu in the evening. Night stay at Port Blair.
Day 2: Went for Jolly Buoy Island. Returned back to Port Blair at around 5:00 pm. Visited Cellular Jail in the evening. Night Stay at Port Blair.
Day 3: Started for Neil Island. Night stay at Pearl Park Beach Resort, Neil Island.
Day 4: Started for Havelock Island. Night Stay at Dolphin Resort, Havelock.
Day 5: Whole day at Havelock. Night Stay at Dolphin Resort, Havelock.
Day 6: Back to Port Blair. Night stay at Port Blair.
Day 7: Started for Diglipur. Visited Mud Volcano in Baratang. Reached Diglipur at around 8:00 pm. Stay at Pristine Beach Resort, Diglipur.
Day 8: Visited Ross and Smith Islands. 15 min drive from Diglipur. Night stay at Pristine Beach Resort, Diglipur.
Day 9: Back from Diglipur. Night stay at Port Blair.
Day 10: Flight from Port Blair to Kolkata. Reached Kolkata at around 2:00 pm.
